This keeps text, notifications and other information clear and detailed. The colour screen is fully touch-sensitive, making it easy to navigate the different menus and functions. The watch also has a physical control button. ## Health and daily activity The Xiaomi Watch S4 lets you track different aspects of your health and daily activity. Its built-in heart-rate sensor measures your pulse at the wrist, and the watch also has a thermometer. Other sensors include an accelerometer, a motion sensor and an ambient-light sensor. This allows the smartwatch to collect different data while you wear it during the day or exercise. ## Exercise with built-in GPS During exercise, the Xiaomi Watch S4 records data such as distance covered and heart-rate zones. The smartwatch supports activities including running, walking and swimming. Its integrated GPS, GLONASS and Galileo navigation system records your location and route without relying solely on your smartphone's GPS. The watch also has a compass and a barometric altimeter. With 5 ATM water resistance, the Watch S4 is also suitable for swimming. ## Calls and notifications from your wrist When connected to your smartphone, the Xiaomi Watch S4 displays notifications for calls, text messages and social media, among other things, on your wrist. The smartwatch also has a phone function for managing calls through the watch. You can use your calendar too, and the Watch S4 supports the “Snap” gesture control. This lets you, for example, reject a call with a snap of your fingers or take a photo remotely. ## Battery for several days The Xiaomi Watch S4 offers up to 8 days of battery life with light use. If you use the smartwatch more intensively and use functions such as GPS and the sensors more often, the stated battery life is approximately 3 days. With normal use, you will therefore not need to charge the watch every day.
