Apple iPhone 14 Pro 128GB Gold
£264.99
Apple introduced the gold 128GB iPhone 14 Pro on 7 September 2022. This model stands out for its updated rear cameras. Photography has been an important part of iPhone, and 14 Pro adds a higher-resolution Main sensor and improved processing. Low-light improvements rely on the camera system and A16 Bionic chip shared with iPhone 14 Pro Max. ## Gold 128GB iPhone 14 Pro design The back retains lines similar to iPhone 13 Pro. At the front, Dynamic Island replaces the previous notch with an oval cutout occupying less display area, with a surrounding interface for activities and notifications; the sensors are not hidden under the display. ## Cameras on the new model The 48MP Main increases resolution over iPhone 13 Pro's 12MP. It can capture more detail in supported modes, without the number alone guaranteeing better pictures in every situation. The system also has Ultra Wide and telephoto cameras for wide scenes or distant subjects. Sharpness and detail depend on lighting, mode and capture technique. ## Powerful A16 Bionic chip A16 Bionic provides fast app and multitasking capability. Its energy management contributes to battery life. Operation depends on workload and settings; complete freedom from slowdowns is not guaranteed. ## MagSafe accessories The gold 128GB iPhone 14 Pro supports compatible MagSafe accessories such as a wallet or magnetic wireless charger. Attachment and charging depend on the accessory and case. ## Always-On display Always-On shows notifications without fully waking the display according to settings. High outdoor brightness helps visibility outside; performance depends on surroundings rather than guaranteeing perfect visibility. ## Predecessors: iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro iPhone 14 Pro adds changes over iPhone 12 Pro and 13 Pro, particularly to the Main camera and chip generation. Photography and speed differences depend on the task and model compared. ## Low-light photography The improved sensor and processing help produce clearer, more detailed images in low light. Results vary with scene and capture, without identical gains in every photograph. ## Water and dust resistance iPhone 14 Pro is rated IP68, tested by Apple at up to 6 metres for up to 30 minutes under controlled conditions. This rating does not mean an improvement over every previous model. Resistance protects against certain accidental water and dust exposures, but does not guarantee continued operation after any rain, immersion or dusty use. It may decrease with wear. ## Sound and speakers Stereo speakers play music, films and supported calls with clarity depending on content, volume and surroundings. No measurable improvement over every previous generation is assumed. Together with the cameras, A16 and design, these functions create a versatile package for different uses without making it the best on the market for everyone. ## Ease of use Dynamic Island and the bright display help you check information. The chip runs apps with capability for many tasks; comfort and smoothness depend on use. ## Battery life A16 efficiency contributes to use between charges. Lasting a full day depends on brightness, connections, apps and battery condition; a complete day is not guaranteed in every situation. ## New functions Always-On and higher outdoor brightness are among this generation's additions. MagSafe compatibility extends uses with suitable accessories. ## Conclusion The gold 128GB iPhone 14 Pro is an option for those who value photography, power and design. Its cameras and chip offer advanced functions for supported tasks; the choice depends on your needs and preferences.
