Apple AirPods 4 White
£56.99
White Apple AirPods 4 combine a redesigned open fit with personalised audio. They are intended for comfortable music listening, meetings and travel over longer sessions, although fit depends on your ears. ## Improved audio quality The H2 chip and Apple's audio processing deliver deep bass, defined highs and balanced sound for songs, calls and films. This version has no active noise cancellation; choose white AirPods 4 ANC if you want that function. ## Personalised Spatial Audio Personalised Spatial Audio creates an immersive experience tailored to the shape of your head and ears. Creating the profile requires an iPhone with a TrueDepth camera, plus compatible devices, apps and content for playback. Dynamic head tracking adapts the soundstage to your movements in supported music, films and calls. Enjoy it at home or out and about, for example with a compatible iPhone 16, without holding your phone. ## Pressure controls and head gestures Stem force sensors let you play, pause and skip tracks forwards or back using the relevant presses. Siri Interactions let you nod to accept or shake your head to decline certain requests, such as answering a call. Compatible settings, firmware and software are required. This is useful on the move or with your hands occupied. ## Calls with Voice Isolation Voice Isolation helps your voice stand out from wind, traffic and background conversations in supported phone and video calls. It improves clarity when talking with colleagues or friends without promising to remove every noise. During supported calls, a stem press mutes or unmutes the microphone, useful in meetings or for speaking briefly to someone nearby. ## Compact charging case The small USB-C case fits in a pocket or bag and recharges the earbuds while storing them. A suitable cable and adapter can be shared with other compatible devices. This variant charges through USB-C and includes neither cable nor adapter. ## Battery life Apple specifies up to 5 hours per charge and up to 30 hours in total with case recharges. These figures were obtained with Spatial Audio off, so they do not guarantee that runtime with personalised audio and head tracking active. Actual battery life depends on volume, settings and use. ## Open design The design has no silicone tips sealing the ear canal and can let in more surroundings than sealed earbuds. This can be useful when walking or at the office; music and, on the ANC variant, noise modes affect what you hear. It does not guarantee road safety or hours without discomfort. Spatial Audio and Voice Isolation complement listening when their requirements are met.
